21 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #2!

How far along?: 21 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 148.8 lbs (+9 lbs), belly 40 inches around
Maternity clothes: Wearing mostly maternity clothes
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Sleep: Not as good as it's been. I've been having a very hard time getting comfortable and falling asleep lately. For a while, I stopped taking naps with Vince, because I didn't feel the need for it as much anymore, but now I've gone back to trying to nap with him several times a week.
Best moment this week: Picking out fabric with my sister in law for Samantha's room! We are making a quilt and I'm making her and Vincent each a minky blanket. It has been so fun to get on Pinterest and gather ideas for her room! :D And of course seeing baby girl on the ultrasound again!
Miss anything? Nope
Movement: Lots of movement! But she is definitely more of a roly poly than her brother, who was a total kick-boxer. I'm also pretty certain I did feel hiccups last week, because I've felt them a couple more times this week!
Food cravings: Still Starbucks! Also pasta. And pizza. ALL THE FOODS!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Gender: Girl
Labor signs: nope
Symptoms: Tailbone pain and braxton hicks
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty happy this week!
Looking forward to: Halloween! :D I seriously can't wait!

Halfway There - Baby #2!

How far along?: 20 weeks pregnant - halfway there! :D
Total weight gain/measurements: 148.2 lbs (+8.4 lbs), belly 40 inches around
Maternity clothes: In maternity clothes and clothing that works as maternity. Most of my regular clothes don't fit right anymore!
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Sleep: Not bad! I've found it a little harder to fall asleep this week.
Best moment this week: Buying baby girl clothes! Vincent even picked out two outfits! When I took them from the rack to look on them, he tugged on them and said "Uh-huh!! Uh-huh!!" <3 Also, Mike had a long weekend and it was so wonderful to get to spend some time together as a family!
Miss anything? Nope
Movement: Lots of movement this week. And I THINK I may have felt hiccups for the first time yesterday! :D
Food cravings: Although it's a beverage: Starbucks coffee. Caramel coffees in particular. I can't WAIT until they bring back the Chesnut Praline and Caramel Brulee Lattes this winter!!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope! I was even able to cook hamburger meat this week - woohoo! I still have no interest in eating any meat other than chicken though.
Gender: Girl <3
Labor signs: nope
Symptoms: Tailbone pain and braxton hicks
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty happy this week!
Looking forward to: My appointment on Thursday! I will likely be getting another ultrasound from my OB, since the anatomy scan was with a high risk doctor when we had our appointment with the geneticist last week.

19 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #2!

How far along?: 19 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 147.2 lbs (+7.4 lbs), belly 39.5 inches around
Maternity clothes: We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend and I swear it took me 15 minutes just to find a shirt that worked! A good chunk of my wardrobe has definitely gone into hibernation. xD So most of my clothing is now either maternity or works as maternity clothing.
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Sleep: Pretty good, but definitely finding it harder to get comfortable!
Best moment this week: Finding out the gender! :D Also getting to go to the pumpkin patch on Saturday - it was so much fun!
Miss anything? Nope
Movement: A lot more this week! When I lie on my back and the baby is awake, I can see my belly button sink and rise. I found out at the ultrasound that my suspicion is right - I have an anterior placenta again!
Food cravings: Sams Club pizza
Anything making you queasy or sick? This week I realized just how much unisom+vitamin B6 have been helping me this pregnancy! I forgot to take it one night and the next day, I threw up twice. As long as I take it every night, I feel great! Even the smells that bothered me are getting easier for me to stomach, but I still have a meat aversion.
Gender: It's a GIRL!! <3

Biiiiig yawn!

Labor signs: I believe that I've started having braxton hicks this week; I noticed them this weekend when we did quite a bit of walking at the pumpkin patch on Saturday, then running errands all day Sunday.
Symptoms: Back and tailbone pain and braxton hicks
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Super happy this week!
Looking forward to: Buying girly clothes! Hehe :D

18 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #2!

How far along?: 18 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 145 lbs (+5.2 lbs), belly 39.5 inches around
Maternity clothes: Off and on. I was super excited to get my two new fun maternity shirts in the mail this week! I'm wearing one of them in the photo :)
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Sleep: Pretty good!
Best moment this week: Nesting. Many much nesting. I don't know why nesting gets me so excited! I think a lot of it is because of our tight budget and knowing we were going to move immediately after baby's arrival when I was pregnant with Vincent. It made it very hard to nest! Our bedroom is rearranged, I am 100% caught up on chores and my car is spotless and it's oil is changed! I also got my first credit card this weekend, so that I can start building credit and Mike and I can look into buying our first home once the baby is here. Super exciting!
Miss anything? Nope
Movement: Very rarely! This baby makes me so nervous - he or she is MUCH less active than Vincent was. And I had an anterior placenta with Vincent! I am still considering ordering a doppler.
Food cravings: Pasta, salad and cake. Chocolate cake.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Just certain smells make me queasy. And pretty much all meat other than chicken!
Gender: Unknown - we find out next week! Any guesses?
Labor signs: Nope!
Symptoms: Back and tailbone pain - otherwise no complaints!
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy this week!
Looking forward to: The ultrasound next week! I am so excited :D

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs VoxBox Review

To be completely honest, I was not going to review this product, because I wasn't sure it would be a fair review. Here's why: I am pale. Pale as in WiteOut would be a good name for the shade of concealer I need to match my skin tone pale. Unfortunately, although the shade of leg makeup I received was "Light", I ended up looking like a preteen who had her first run-in with some self tanning lotion. (Because seriously - who hasn't done that at least once in their lifetime?!)

It doesn't look near as bad in the photo as it did up close and personal - trust me! But, wrong shade aside, it wasn't a bad product! It had a surprisingly pleasant scent; it reminded me of a pumpkin spice latte. (Which I thought was kind of funny, since it turned me orange hahaha!) It went on very smoothly with little streaking and was not difficult to apply at all. I like the fact that it is waterproof, which is particularly convenient in the summer! I'm not sure how well it would hold up in the pool, but I'm guessing not too bad, since I was only able to remove it with soap, warm water and a loofah. It really did even out my skin tone (as you can tell in the before and after photo), but it definitely didn't conceal freckles, blemishes or scars, as the product advertises.

It does come in one shade lighter than what I received, but in the end, this product isn't for me. One, because I'm a mom. I'm lucky enough to find time to apply regular makeup and that's a LOT of skin to cover! Two, it says it's transfer resistant, but I'd still be too paranoid it would rub off on my clothing. That's enough of a problem with face makeup! But it was definitely a fun product to try out!! Perhaps next summer I'll purchase the lightest shade and see if it works any better. For now, bring on the yoga pants!

Before: Snow White
After: Donald Trump ;D
Disclaimer: I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing and reviewing purposes.
