12 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #3

How far along? 12 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 160 lbs
Maternity clothes: Maternity jeans, some maternity tops and otherwise TC leggings and loose, comfy clothing!
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Blaaaahhhh. >.<
Best moment this week: Christmas with the family, then getting to hear the baby's heartbeat the day after!! :D
Miss anything? NOT having such major food aversions! Seriously my food aversions with this pregnancy are almost worse than they were with Vincent. So many foods absolutely disgust me right now.
Movement: Yes!!! Super, super faint and tiny, but when I'm laying in bed at night, especially when I have a full bladder, I can feel tiny little pops. <3
Food cravings: Salty and savory foods.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Food aversions mostly and general bad smells like the dogs, diapers etc. Those mostly make me queasy, but I do feel nauseous off and on most days and will avoid things that make it worse like the plague.
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Food aversions, nausea, sore boobs and fatigue. To add, I also have been having super bizarre pelvic pain!! LOTS of pressure. And I didn't feel that with Vincent until the very last month of pregnancy, with Samantha maybe in the last week or so and then after giving birth both times, so I'm not sure why I am feeling that now.
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Moody, but getting increasingly better now that things are getting back to normal after the holidays.
Looking forward to: A fresh new start in 2019! :D

11 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #3

How far along? 11 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 158 lbs
Maternity clothes: Those and my mother in law's TC leggings lol!!
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: No bueno. :(
Best moment this week: Getting to spend time with family and bake Christmas cookies today!
Miss anything? Coffee!! I could drink it, but it still sounds so gross to me!! That would help a lot with the fatigue!
Movement: No, probably not for another two-three months at least.
Food cravings: Salty foods mostly! I'm not really wanting much of anything sweet.
Anything making you queasy or sick? I haven't felt quite as bad this week! Right now, I'm mostly having food aversions, so my appetite is just not quite there right now.
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Food aversions, nausea, sore boobs (they have been SO sore this week) and fatigue
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty moody, although my mood has improved this week since I started taking fish oil!
Looking forward to: CHRISTMAAAASSS.

How far along? 10 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 158 lbs
Maternity clothes: That and comfy, loose clothing
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: The heck is that?!
Best moment this week: Getting to take the kids to see Santa!!
Miss anything? An appetite
Movement: No, probably not for another two-three months at least.
Food cravings: Same as last week
Anything making you queasy or sick? Meat and vegetables
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Nausea, Food aversions, fatigue
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Moody. My mental health has been particularly bad these past couple of weeks, which is why there wasn't a 9 week update!
Looking forward to: Having the family here for Christmas!

8 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #3

How far along? 8 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 158 lbs
Maternity clothes: Thanks to awesome pregnancy symptoms this week, I spent nearly the entire week in Mike's pajama pants and hoodies.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Sleep is okay, but I feel like no matter how good my night was, I'm exhausted the next morning regardless.
Best moment this week: Seeing our baby!! <3 We didn't get to hear the heartbeat, but we did get to see that little heart flicker on the ultrasound, which was amazing!!
Miss anything? Having an appetite :(
Movement: No, probably not for another two-three months at least.
Food cravings: Not so much cravings as just things I feel like I can tolerate eating. Bananas, lightly buttered toast and cheese pizza. Sound familiar?! (*cough*VINCENT*cough*)
Anything making you queasy or sick? Everything. Particularly meats and vegetables, coffee (sadness), sweets and lots of different smells. Trying to stick to fragrance free for almost everything but our hand soap, which thankfully isn't bothering me!
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Damn near crippling nausea, fatigue, raging hormones.
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Moody AF. xD
Looking forward to: Whenever the next time is that I am able to take a nap. Hahaha!

7 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #3

How far along? 7 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 160.4 lbs
Maternity clothes: Jeans are all maternity now. Even my stretchy, buttery soft OS leggings are uncomfortable around my waist, (what the hell.) so I’ve been wearing my couple pairs of TC and borrowing my mother in law’s TC leggings lol! I remember seeing seasoned moms posting pictures of their huge under 10 week bellies in my mom groups during my first and second pregnancies and thinking pfff. Stop. You’re pushing your belly out. And here I am at 7 weeks with baby #3 and I look like I just devoured two taco party packs by myself. *facepalm*
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: When Samantha lets me sleep, it's not bad!
Best moment this week: Thanksgiving and playing cards!!
Miss anything? Fast Food.
Movement: No, probably not for another two-three months at least.
Food cravings: Same as last week!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Same smells as last week are making me queasy, but it's manageable.
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Mostly fatigue and ridiculous emotions.
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Very moody!!
Looking forward to: My ultrasound tomorrow!!!

6 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #3

How far along? weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 160.4 lbs
Maternity clothes: Lots more maternity than I'd like to admit lol!
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Sleep has been a lot better this week, but I’ve been insanely tired!
Best moment this week: Getting to have a Thanksgiving meal with Vincent at his preschool! It was wonderful to see him in his element in the classroom and meet all his friends!
Miss anything? Fast food.
Movement: No, probably not for another two-three months at least.
Food cravings: Fast food! I want all the pizza, Taco Bell, Freddy’s burgers and fries, all covered in cheese and dripping in grease.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not really; I’m just turned off by certain smells, like diapers, the kitchen sink full of dirty dishes, the trash and the hallway, which has become the dogs’ favorite place to pee in this cold weather. *eye roll*
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Fatigue, sore boobs and raging hormones. Oh, also. EVERYTHING makes me cry. Cute video on Facebook? Tears. My kids being cute? Waterworks. An episode of This Is Us? Sobfest. Craving something I no longer eat? Meltdown. And then there’s the crying about being emotional and crying thing that is super awesome. Lol
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Moody. As. F. No doubt. I’m hoping once I have my ultrasound next week that things will be less scary and begin to feel more real! That might help a little with the moodiness. Might. Hopefully. xD
Looking forward to: Thanksgiving this week and Cards Against Hunanity! Let’s just hope I don’t cry for whatever random reason.

5 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #3

How far along? 5 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 158.2 lbs
Maternity clothes: Honestly, three out of four of my pairs of jeans are maternity now. Hahaha! Mostly because they're super comfortable and from weight gain over the past year and all my jeans fitting tightly right now, I figured I'd go ahead and put them up until next year.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Not fantastic. I got sick two weeks ago and I still have the leftover crud and cough, which seems to be worst at night. Samantha still hasn't been sleeping well in addition (the other night, I only slept three hours), but it's getting a little better every night.
Best moment this week: Our first snow day of 2018! The kids had a blast playing outside in the snow! :D
Miss anything? Junk food lol!
Movement: No, probably not for another two-three months at least.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not really! I've gotten a little tiny bit queasy a couple times in the past week, but only when I was super tired.
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: The fatigue is definitely becoming more severe, but it's hard to tell whether that is pregnancy related or just from poor sleep lately! I've also started to have sore breasts this week.
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Emotions are still all over the place right now! So I'm working hard to keep my mental health in check and continue my healthy diet and exercise!
Looking forward to: My first ultrasound towards the end of the month! And Thanksgiving of course. Because food. xD

4 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #3

How far along? 4 weeks pregnant
Baby's Size:
Total weight gain/measurements: 160 lbs (pre-pregnancy weight)
Maternity clothes: Nope! I won't be in them for a while.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Samantha has been waking up a lot at night lately, so I haven't been getting as much sleep as I'd like to, but when I do sleep, I sleep like a log!
Best moment this week: Getting my positive test!
Miss anything? Everything I miss is more diet related haha! I changed my diet about three weeks ago and cut out a lot of things I usually pig out on. But it's been worth it!!
Movement: No, probably not for another two-three months at least.
Food cravings: Not anything in particular
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not yet!! *KNOCKS ON WOOD* I have my fingers crossed that if it does hit within the next few weeks (which it likely will), it won't be as bad as it was with Vincent!!
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope
Symptoms: Hardly anything right now, honestly! Which makes sense, because it is still so early. But when I think about it, I'm urinating more frequently, I'm pretty fatigued and this is now my third pregnancy with one of the first pregnancy symptoms being excessive sneezing haha! But I got sick about a week ago and it's still lingering, so that could be part of it as well.
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: I've been really moody this week! Between my change in diet, then going of my anti-depressant and anti-anxiety medications under doctor instruction, my emotions have been ALL over the place. However, thanks to my mom and husband's support, adding Vitamin D and Vitamin B6 supplements into the mix and making myself keep up with my exercise routine, my mood has been improving a little bit every day!
Looking forward to: My first ultrasound towards the end of the month! And Thanksgiving of course. Because food. xD

13 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #2!

How far along?: 13 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 140.8 lbs (+1 lb - my weight fluctuates SO much.), belly 38.5 inches around
Maternity clothes: Just here in there. Still not needed. Most of my shorts and pants are either stretchy or have a little room to grow and most of my shirts are long. I don't have too much of a bump yet, so I've still got a little bit until the maternity clothes are an absolute must!
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Sleep: Sleep has been pretty good for the most part. I have still been taking Vincent's nap with him nearly every day. I'm happy that I am still able to comfortably sleep on my belly. :)
Best moment this week: Getting to hear baby's heartbeat! It was 160, just like Vincent's. :)
Miss anything? My pre-pregnancy hair!! This pregnancy my hair has been getting oily super fast, whereas last pregnancy, it took several days to get oily. I tend to have very dry and brittle hair, so I go a few days between washes to prevent split ends. And since the smell of dry shampoo is incredibly unpleasant right now, I've been having to just sort of deal with the greasiness! :P
Movement: Still some popping here and there, but not often. And I only really feel it when I am lying in bed.
Food cravings: Still buttered toast - although it's not so much a craving as it is something that I can just about always eat, no matter how I feel. One thing I have been seriously jonesing for is alfredo pasta from Olive Garden!! O.O Also their salad. If I could have any food delivered to me for free every day, that's what I'd pick, hands down.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Certain smells and the famous gag cough. And with this pregnancy, I've noticed the vomiting is completely random. The other night, Mike picked me up a big mac and I went to TOWN on it. It was so good. Until I got to the last bite...all of a sudden I thought "Oooohh s***....it's coming back up" and I got sick. I honestly can deal with that type of vomiting no problem! It's the everlasting nausea that eventually maybe possibly leads to vomiting that makes me feel like I'm going to die.
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope!
Symptoms: Nausea & morning sickness comes and goes, depending on the day. Other than that just a little bit of fatigue and breast soreness.
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Moody some days and happy others! Again - it just depends on the day.
Looking forward to: Mike will FINALLY have a couple days off this weekend, which I can't wait to spend with him. Also, my mother in law and a family friend are coming to visit this weekend as well and I'm super excited to see them! And at some point next week, my mom should be coming back to stay with us for a little while! AND of course entering the second trimester next week. :D Lots of fun things to look forward to!

12 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #2!

How far along?: 12 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 143.6 lbs (+3.8 lbs), belly 38.5 inches around
Maternity clothes: Only on occasion, but they aren't needed at this point
Stretch marks? No new ones
Sleep: Sleep has been fine!
Best moment this week: Getting Vincent's new play kitchen! You know you're a mom when that type of thing is the highlight of your week. xD
Miss anything? Coffee. I did get some decaf, but a lot of the time, I find myself a little too queasy to want to drink it. It was such a staple in my morning and it's strange to not have a cup with breakfast anymore!
Movement: Occasionally a little popping sensation that I know for sure isn't gas, but not much at all yet! I'm still surprised I'm feeling anything at all this early!
Food cravings: Not really a craving, but the most appetizing thing to me, and I could seriously sit and eat it all day, is buttered toast. I have it every morning and always end up wanting more!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Last pregnancy, I would cough, it would turn into a gag and I would end up throwing up. The same thing is happening this pregnancy, but it's only happened a couple of times. It only happens when I'm already queasy! I try to take deep breaths afterward, but it always just ends up helping to get sick and be done with it. And unlike last pregnancy, I have actually felt better after throwing up as opposed to the same or worse! So that's an improvement :)
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope!
Symptoms: Nausea was pretty bad, but the past few days, I've hardly felt nauseous at all! I'm hoping it is coming to an end - I can't even express how much I'd love to go through most of my pregnancy without the nausea!! Otherwise sore boobs. They've become increasingly sore within the past couple weeks. Occasional back pain, but nothing bad. Other than that, really no complaints! This pregnancy is definitely easier than my first!
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: It really varies from day to day. Some days, I am in complete meltdown mode and other days I am in a fantastic mood!
Looking forward to: My next appointment! One week from today! :D

11 Weeks Pregnant - Baby #2!

How far along?: 11 weeks pregnant
Total weight gain/measurements: 140.8 lbs (+2 lbs), belly 38 inches around
Maternity clothes: Only on occasion, but they aren't needed at this point
Stretch marks? No new ones
Sleep: Sleep has been okay - although lately, I've been having a hard time falling asleep, because of nausea late at night.
Best moment this week: Having a play date with a friend and her 14 month old this week! It was nice to get out and Vincent had a great time.
Miss anything? My energy. It has gotten a little bit better, but I find myself exhausted after putting toys away or bringing in groceries! I end up out of breath!
Movement: Occasionally a little popping sensation that I know for sure isn't gas, but not much at all yet! I'm still surprised I'm feeling anything at all this early!
Food cravings: Beef Taquitos! No idea why, especially since I've had such a meat aversion this pregnancy. But I want them. Now. With a lot of cheese on top.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Haha - changing diapers! I don't know what on earth is up lately, I think it might be the teething, but Vincent's diapers have been NASTY lately! I threw up for the first time this pregnancy on Saturday, right after changing a diaper. I have NEVER had problems changing diapers before. I'm hoping it was a one time thing, because I really have been feeling better this pregnancy!
Gender: Unknown
Labor signs: Nope!
Symptoms: Nausea has been fairly consistent this week, but my sea bands are actually really helping this time! My back has been doing a lot better - I think it just depends on my posture and how I've been sitting.
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Same as last week!
Looking forward to: My next appointment, even though it's not for another two weeks!

First Ultrasound - Baby #2!

Today, I finally got to see baby bean at 10 weeks! It was also the first time I met my OB. She was so sweet and I felt very comfortable with her, but the ultrasound and time with her was so short and quick, I didn't get to know her like I did my midwives when I first met them.
I actually thought this would not only be my first ultrasound, but also my first checkup. Apparently this appointment was just supposed to be a confirmation/dating ultrasound and she'd see me two weeks following for my first check up. I'm not going to lie, this really surprised me...with my midwives I was seen at 8 weeks for blood work, paperwork and a urinalysis, and also to sit and visit with my midwife. They actually caught a UTI, which I was completely unaware I had, and was prescribed antibiotics. The full body exam, pap etc., along with the ultrasound were done at 10 weeks.
But since our insurance doesn't kick in until September 1st this time around, we have to move the checkup back a week further and I'll be 13 weeks along. I know that things are done differently everywhere, but it does put me a bit on edge, because I haven't really gotten to meet my OB and I had so many UTIs with Vince, I just want to be sure that everything is okay. I thought they'd at least do a urinalysis and blood work. I was also expecting to hear the heartbeat, which we didn't, but we did see it!
I'm not complaining, but I was caught a little off guard! The good news is that there will be another ultrasound, which I'm excited about! I will definitely make another post after my checkup with the second ultrasound photos. :)

So, to the ultrasound! Baby is measuring right along with my last missed period, so my due date is still March 8th! And oh my goodness, this baby is a wiggle worm!! I cried a little bit - I was so, so happy to see our healthy little bean!
